Detailed Info:

Game Design: The game features a day-night cycle, where players gather wood, stone, and food during the day and use them to build defenses and hire troops. The village has preset building slots to simplify construction, ensuring quick decisions in a short playtime. Enemy waves grow more intense with each night, requiring players to balance resource management, troop upgrades, and strategic placement of walls and towers for defense.

Music/SFX:  The game features two main themes that play for either the day cycle or the night cycle.  The SFX were made by a combination of homemade recordings, files from freesound.org, and a blending of both.

Game Programming: The programming of Defend your castle includes a simple day-night cycle system, resource management for gathering wood, stone, and food, and a construction system with preset building slots. Basic AI and pathfinding controls troops and enemies, while a wave system increases difficulty each night. The game uses straightforward health and damage mechanics to track combat between troops, enemies, and structures.
